Mobile Medical Examination Stations Delivered to Kuzbass Started Operation in the Region

November 15, 2022

For the first time, mobile medical examination stations left the roads of the Kemerovo region. They are designed to check drivers for alcohol, drugs and other toxic intoxication. The available equipment allows specialists to determine even the slightest concentration of prohibited substances.

A medical examination for the state of intoxication using mobile stations is carried out by the narcological service of the Kemerovo region on a territorial basis, the northern part of Kuzbass is served by the Kuzbass Clinical Narcological Dispensary named after Professor N.P. Kokorina" and GBUZ "Leninsk-Kuznetsk Psychiatric Hospital", and the southern - GBUZ "Novokuznetsk Narcological Dispensary" and GBUZ "Prokopyevsk Narcological Dispensary".

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kemerovo Region, the mobility of the mobile station allows for medical examinations in areas remote from medical organizations, including when traffic police officers conduct specialized preventive raids to ensure road safety.

In addition, the use of mobile stations in joint preventive measures of the narcological service of Kuzbass and the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia makes it possible to carry out a medical examination of persons who have committed administrative offenses directly at the place of their detention.
Now the examination can be carried out at the place of the raid, in a mobile station. Previously, traffic police inspectors had to deliver vehicle drivers to the medical examination rooms of the nearest medical institutions and leave their observation post.
